Podere Erica is conveniently located, half-way between Florence and Siena. We offer private wine tastings to small groups. We have an intimate tasting room with a beautiful panoramic view of our property and surrounding hills.

We offer private wine tastings for 2 - 6 people inside our tasting room and for 2 - 8 people out on our terrace (warm weather only).  Monday - Friday only.

The Podere Erica Tasting Experience

Our winemaker Marco Giordano will guide your small group briefly through our vineyard and our wine cellar and then settle you into our intimate tasting room.  He will then take you through tastings of 3 of our wines, providing an explanation of each wine and the biodynamic practices that we follow.  Your group will also have the opportunity to sample our organic extra virgin olive oil and our prized salumi from our Mangalitsa pigs that we raise on the property.

Il Picchio Vertical

70€ per person for groups of 2 - 8 people

For a different wine tasting experience, we offer a mini vertical tasting of four vintages of our award-winning flagship wine, Il Picchio.  Our winemaker Marco Giordano will briefly guide your small group through our vineyard and our wine cellar and then settle you into our intimate tasting room. He will then take you through tastings of the four Il Picchio vintages, providing an explanation of each vintage and the various influences of each year.  Your group will also be able to sample our organic extra virgin olive oil and our prized salumi from our Mangalitsa pigs that we raise on the property.
